Tom is Managing Director of Clinch Wealth Management and has acted as a financial adviser at the firm since 1992. Since assuming the position of Managing Director in 2004, Tom has grown the firm from €30 million to €350 million in funds under management today. Tom is a former council member of the Irish Brokers Association, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and a QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser).
Andrew joined Clinch Wealth Management as Director in January 2013. He began his financial services career in 1995 with ABN AMRO. He was appointed Head of Sales for the bank's North America IFSC Company, Managing Director of the bank's International Treasury Services Company in Budapest and Head of the bank's Irish Portfolio Management division. Andrew spent seven years within the Capital Markets division of IBRC where he sat on the board of the bank's treasury division. He was Head of Client Services for Abbey Capital where he worked before joining the team at Clinch Wealth Management. Andrew holds a BA in Economics from UCD and MSc in Investment and Treasury from DCU and is a QFA.
Michele was appointed to the role of Director in Clinch Wealth Management, December 2016. Michele joined Clinch Wealth Management as Operations Manager in January 2015 and manages our team of Client Service Executives. She previously worked with Bank of Ireland for 28 years. During this time she carried out a number of roles in Bank of Ireland Private Banking. Michele primarily operated in the Client Management area as a Portfolio Manager, a Portfolio Team Leader and Manager of the Client Services Team. She was ultimately appointed to Head of Client Support, a position she held until her departure in 2014. Michele is a QFA and holder of the Joint Financial Services Diploma from the Institute of Banking, The Insurance Institute of Ireland & LIA. Michele also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) ® Credential.
Ronan is the Founder and Director of RSIC and has been providing expert investment consulting to a wide range of institutions and advisers since 2007. Clinch Wealth Management utilises the services of RSIC to develop our investment analysis and strategy. Ronan was a Director at Bank of Ireland Asset Management for 18 years and subsequently developed the global business of a specialist currency manager. He is a former chairman of CFA Ireland, a former council member of the IAPF and was Ireland's representative in Europe for the development of the Global Investment Performance Standards. He is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, The University of Hull, and is a QFA and FCCA.
Conor has a broad range of experience gained over 37 Years, working with Global organisations including Midland Bank, Diageo, Citibank, ABN AMRO and in the Irish market with Allied Irish Bank and Bank of Ireland. Conor has also worked in startups, with FinTech Company CR2 and in a joint venture with Deutsche Bank, Key Capital Private. Conor currently runs his own consulting firm Montpelier Capital.Conor qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland; he is a member of the Institute of Directors and also acts as a Non-Executive Director for Regulated Investment Funds based in Dublin and Cayman.
Neil joined Clinch Wealth Management as a Portfolio Manager in August 2016. Prior to this, he worked with Davy Stockbrokers. Neil holds a BBS in Business and Management from Maynooth University, is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and Specialist Investment Advisor (SIA). He is currently studying the UCD Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning - Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Amongst his many interests, Neil has played rugby at professional level in France and is an avid fan of the sport.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Paul joined Clinch Wealth Management in April 2017 as a Portfolio Manager. He joins us from Bank of Ireland Private Banking with over 14 years wealth management experience. Paul initially worked in the Financial Planning and Pension Planning units before moving into client management where he worked as a Portfolio Manager for over 12 years.Paul holds an L.L.B degree awarded by Cardiff Law School. He is a Qualified Financial adviser (QFA), Specialist Investment Adviser (SIA) and also holds the Registered Stockbroker designation. He is currently studying for the Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning through UCD in order to attain the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Peter joined Clinch Wealth Management in September 2017 as a Portfolio Manager. Peter has worked in Financial Services for over 36 years, starting his career as analyst and dealer in Bank of Ireland’s Treasury Division. He moved to Bank of Ireland’s Fund Management arm as an investment adviser and then as product development manager. Peter has been providing wealth management advice to clients since 2001, as a Manager with Bank of Ireland Private Banking and as a Wealth Manager with ACC/Rabobank. Peter is a QFA, holds a Diploma in Accounting & Finance (ACCA) and is a Graduate of the Marketing Institute.
Senior Portfolio Manager
Ciaran joined Clinch Wealth Management in 2019 as a Portfolio Manager. He has worked in the financial planning and wealth management industry for over 17 years. Ciaran previously worked with BDO Simpson Xavier, Bank of Ireland Private Banking and Acumen & Trust. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Human Resource Management, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and MSc in Financial Services from University College Dublin and has numerous qualifications including Qualified Financial Adviser, Certificate in Stockbroking, Retirement Planning Advisor, Specialist Investment Advisor and Certified Financial Planner™. Ciaran advises on all aspects of financial planning such as Pensions, Investments, Protection, Retirement and Estate Planning.
Graham graduated from TCD with an honours law degree in 1983 and has over 35 years of investment market experience gained initially in London with Natwest and Nomura. After ten years he returned to Dublin and worked with the Investment Bank of Ireland for nine years as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He joined Friends First in 2000. In 2001 the Investment team was taken over by F&C Asset Management and he became a director in 2004. He was responsible for all aspects of Marketing and Client Services in F&C working closely with Institutional Investment funds, with particular reference to Pension Funds. He rejoined Friends First in September 2013 following the sale of F&C’s Irish Investment business back to Friends First.
From March 2019, Graham started a new part-time role with Aviva-Friends First liaising with institutional fund managers and corporate clients. From April 2019 he has also started a new role with Clinch Wealth Management as an Investment Consultant focussing on investment research on all the major asset classes. He will also be a member of the Clinch Wealth Management Investment Committee.
He has particular expertise in working with corporate pension schemes helping them to restructure their investments to both meet the regulatory environment and achieve the best possible returns given their liability structures. He deals with the full range of corporate investments and has a particular interest in ethical investing.
